Leaders of albinism organizations around the world meet for the first time to discuss albinism as common cause
Established in 2013, the National Disabled Albino Nepal (N.D.A.N) or N.D.A. NEPAL is basically a national level organization established for the welfare of People with Albinism. The organization is a non-governmental organization registered in Nepal with the District Administrative office, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of Nepal.
The organization is at present functioning in the many districts of nepal. The head office of the organization is in Nepalgunj of the Banke district. Our organization is first and only registered organization working on behalf of albino people in Nepal. We are a committee of members who work voluntarily for the welfare of people with albinism of Nepal. Our motive is to help People with Albinism who are living a vulnerable life in Nepal.
The objective of the organization is to advocate for the recognition and respect of the rights and socio-economic inclusion of people living with albinism, fighting against the misbelieves related to the albinism, making people aware about this genetic disorder, and helping people with albinisms, who are going through many social, physical and psychological problems in any possible way.
The organization is in continuous strive to recognize Albinism as a disability in Nepal. Our efforts is to make difference in the family lives of the albino people by making people understand more about the condition and spreading more awareness in the society. We provide a platform to the albino people where they can come and discuss more about their problems, this organization help to bring back confidence and smile in albino people of Nepal by addressing their problems and counseling them.
As an organization we try our best to present these problems in front of the government and demand for the needs and facilities to solve them. The organization serves all People with Albinism with no discrimination in sex and age.
